Hi,

I just wanted to say that Cut and Come Again is one of my all time favorite songs, whether it's your version or Del Shannon's.

Good luck to you and thanks for the music. :)

Hi Billy re : my previous post, the song that you were writing at the time at The Boathouse in Richmond was " Cant Stop Loving You, and not " When I Need You " as I previously posted, hope you are well
Kind Regards

Hello Billy

Just wanted to say Hi and ask if you could pass on my regards to your little brother Mike. Mike and I were at Wandsworth school from 1969 - 74 along with Mike's choir partner Les West.

We would sometimes sit around at school trying to work out 'carry on' or some other Crosby Stills & Nash tune but my best memories were of visiting your parents place and getting my hands on your beautiful Zematis guitar!..(Not sure we were allowed to even look at it???) but I remember thinking "wow! this doesnt sound crap like mine! It stays in tune and sounds great!" Oh and also I really loved the great tones that could be squeezed out of that old Framus Hollywood with the sliding pick-up???

I still work sometimes as a guitar player on the social club circuit and write and record at home. My uncle Ben encouraged me to play guitar and get a band going in the early days but it didnt happen. Fortunately for him though his son Darrin rejected guitar in favour of the drums and later went on to work with Gary Moore and Primal Scream.

Its funny but even at such an early age I always thought that Mike had talent and was serious about making a living in the music industry and I am so pleased to read on your web pages that he contributed to your work.

Great memories!
